Free Johnny

Just when you thought things could not get any worse for Johnny McCarthy, things got worse for Johnny McCarthy. Johnny, as some of you may know, is the first person to be found guilty of breaking the new Calvin Kline law in NYC for running around the field of Shea Stadium holding a Howard Stern sign. According to Johnny he accidently fell on to the field breaking his arm but the judge didnt want to hear it and sentenced Johnny to serve 8 weekends at Rikkers Island, minimum security...OUCH!!! I had the opportunity to be the last person to interview Johnny on his final weekend of freedom. And what a weekend it was.

Johnny's appendix ruptured and he had to have emergency surgery to save his life. Johnny resurfaced this week on the Howard Stern BB. Turns out he didnt have to start his sentence because of his medical condition but he was not allowed to leave NYC. The result: Johnny lost his job and is living in a shelter until he is allowed to return home. You can read about the continuing saga in this thread:

In other news it looks like another fan site will be stripping some of its Stern content. www.frogstar.com/stern got the cease and desist letter for streaming some old Howard Stern shows primarily the 9-11 show. It was also reported that a friend of a friend of a friend says that the average joe boyfriend of Kitana Baker was not her boyfriend at all but her husband of many years.
