Last Sunday afternoon the Howard Stern BB was closed without warning and without any explanation why. Today on the show Howard announced that he had had enough of the project and decided to close down the board for good--too much aggravation and expense. Are you now like Jessica Hahn, who called in today, and said that she was now lost without it and looking for all the friends she had made there? Well look no further. Started by former member David Hasselhoff,it was launched oddly enough the same day Howard's board went down. Hmm... Did I mention that it looks identical to Howard's old board? Double Hmmm.. haha Anyway,if you are missing Howard's board, this is about as close as you are going to get. Just be forewarned, the place is crawling with trolls and the rules are slightly different from the official board....There aren't any. Well,there are a few. If you like posting pics of dead dogs this is NOT the board for you. That's about it.

Kami: I have been listening for years, but I only catch a bit in the morning when I’m running errands. For a while they were off the air in Pittsburgh which sucked cause that’s when one of my old roommates (Corina Taylor) was on and I missed all her episodes :(

Watch out Oprah!! Robin inks daytime talk show deal

LOS ANGELES, CA, Nov 22, 2004,—Howard Stern's longtime radio partner,Robin Quivers, is looking at life beyond the Howard Stern Show and now has her sights set on daytime television.

The radio co-host on Howard Stern's syndicated morning show, has inked a deal with Sony Pictures Television to create a pilot that would likely become a one-hour daytime talk show. It could launch as early as next year.

"Robin's a really interesting person, and what's wonderful about her is her strong interviewing skills" said Melanie Chilek, senior vp development and syndicated programing at Sony Pictures Television. "A talk show is hard work, and you have to be a great listener. Robin has that built-in skill set. "

Attack of the Trolls!!!

Things are heating up at the Howard Stern Bulletin Board between Captain Greer and the mods, and the Army of the Unbanned Banned. It was only a few short weeks ago that registration was reopened there and the bans lifted but little by little the abuse of the board and its members by this small group has returned. Now demands are being made by this Army of "terrorists", more commonly known as trolls. How can you spot who the trolls are there? It's really very easy, but I saw this pic this morning and thought I would post it as a guide for those still trying to enjoy the bulletin board. Another house cleaning, an extermination if you will, is needed in my opinion. They had their second chance and as expected, they failed.

That being said, the singer is weak but could be better….he has some talent, but I don’t think that they’re playing to his strengths. It sounds like they recorded this in a jam session while he should have laid the vocals down over the mix after the fact."

Viacom withdraws financial support in battle with Clear Channel

It is beginning to look like shock jock Howard Stern's transition from broadcast radio to an upstart satellite service will be anything but smooth, prompting Mr. Stern to explore whether he can make the leap earlier than expected.

With a little more than a year until Mr. Stern jumps to Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. from Viacom Inc.'s Infinity Broadcasting, the popular radio host has gone on the warpath against his current employer.

The issue is that Viacom has withdrawn its financial support from Mr. Stern's legal fight against Clear Channel Communication Inc., which dropped his show earlier this year after the Federal Communications Commission began a crackdown on indecent broadcasts.

The about-face has infuriated Mr. Stern, who has lambasted Infinity management on the air during his past few shows, but without mentioning the legal issue at the root of the squabble. People close to Infinity say that because Mr. Stern was secretly negotiating with Sirius while enlisting the support of Infinity's legal team in a suit against Clear Channel, Infinity no longer feels compelled to back him. Spokesmen for Infinity and Sirius declined to comment; Mr. Stern's agent couldn't be
reached.

Mr. Stern is negotiating to get out of his contract with Infinity so he can join Sirius earlier than the 2006 date currently planned. Mr. Stern announced his planned move to Sirius last month, live on his show. Sirius likely would have to pay a steep price to land Mr. Stern early; he brings in some $80 million annually in advertising revenue and $50 million annually in cash flow to Infinity, according to people familiar with the matter.

Mr. Stern's rants have led some close to the situation to believe that he is trying to goad Infinity into taking him off the air, which the company doesn't want to do unless Sirius ponies up to buy out his contract.

At the end of June, Infinity and Mr. Stern filed a $10 million
breach-of-contract suit against Clear Channel for dropping Mr. Stern's show earlier in the year. In July, Clear Channel countersued for $3 million, alleging Mr. Stern broke his contract with the company by not conforming to federal decency standards.

Selena: It was much better than I expected. I went in thinking he was going to throw baloney at my ass or something. I have seen some previous shows with exotic dancers and he and his crew can get a little rough on them. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice he and Robin were to me.

Doc: Who was your favorite on the show? Anyone you didn’t like?
