More Troubles for Chaunce Hayden

I spent the past month redoing Chaunce Hayden's website.

I offered to do it after I went to visit and saw what he had going which was hideous.

He was PANICKED telling me the guy Tom was making him look like an asshole etc.. so since I do webdesign I made an offer to him to redo the site in exchange for ad sales revenue and links back to my template site (where I make a few pennies when someone clicks).

I STUPIDLY figured that it would be a good investment and went ahead and moved him to my server, set up the ad account with an ad agency, tweaked the code and essentially stupidly took chaunce at his word thinking it was a good idea.

IT WASN'T.

During our NUMEROUS email exchanges, he agreed to move his site to my server and he would send me his payment from the nudie mag he was expecting. And he of course, told me he didn't want anything to do with Howard Stern. AT ALL. Or his fans since they trash him. Which of course, is to be expected.

So, I finish the site and Chaunce is THRILLED. Until Chaunce told the same guy to make changes to the site and the guy BROKE it and Chaunce sent me an email begging me to fix it right away since it made him look bad and I had to do it RIGHT AWAY since CHAUNCE already put a full page ad in his magazine.

See, Chaunce has a photo of his filthy butthole online and someone posted it in his forum and when he couldn't FIGURE OUT HOW TO log in to erase it and I didn't IMMEDIATELY do it - I was trying to make some money to pay the mortgage since he never sent that check - HE MOVED THE SITE off my server without even so much as a note.

Sorry Kim, but the photos inside the Forum were being passed all over the net.. too embarassing and then I found out they were posted in my own gallery! I get trashed a lot by Stern fans and haters.. but I can't get killed by my own site....

I did the work for you on the understanding that you would be a paying
customer on my server and that I would be able to sell ad space on the site
and that I would be able to link back to my web design business.

That was our arrangement.

You also told me you would be sending me the payment you received from the
nudie mag article that you wrote.

I understand that you felt the need to just cut and run, however, I really
feel you need to make this right.

I am open to suggestions.

You need to address this and tell me how you plan to make it right.

You currently owe me $3000 for web development (120 hours x $25/hr) since
you took the opportunity to earn it back away.

I gave you a break on the amount since my hourly is usually $45 but I took
$2,400 off the bill since we know each other and frankly I didn't expect you
to screw over a woman in a wheelchair in this manner and steal this kind of
resource from me but hey.. I was wrong but in the spirit of the holidays,
I'm still willing to give you a break.

Ignoring me won't make it disappear and if it's not paid in 30 days, I will
be adding back the discount.

You need to make this right Chaunce - I DID my end - I DID the work based on
our agreement.

You took that away, now I want to be paid.

He wasn't happy with my work is simply crap. He is upset that THIS PHOTO OF HIS DIRTY ASSHOLE is online. No, there isn't a link to it, even though I could so very easily put one there.
