A Shrine 100 News EXCLUSIVE: "The Last Broadcast" by Dale In Sales

Howard Stern's last broadcast on terrestrial radio started out with everybody wondering if the march that was planned was going to happen or not because of the pending transit strike and the bad weather... But luckily the strike didn't happen and the show must go on !!!!. Hi Pitch Erik, Irish John, Eddie Sacks and friends were there as early as 4am... I didn't get there until 9am because of traffic delays... once I got there is was a sea of madness... thousands of people pushing and shoving....you were lucky to see anything... after the speeches, everybody headed on down to the Hard Rock Cafe... Zolar and Billy told me to meet them there but nobody mentioned to me that you had to have a special ticket to get in !!! When I got there it was another madhouse... people were begging to get in but were turned away ....even big stars like Lonnie from Scores, Billy Baldwin & Ed Torian had trouble getting in.... and after several hours in the cold, Hi Pitch finally came out to let me in...

The party inside the Hard Rock Cafe was at its peek and it was wild and crazy in there !!! It was a virtual who's who from the Howard Stern show... you name it, they were there... of course the regulars Robin, Sal, Richard, Artie, Fred, Ralph, etc.... but also in attendance were, most of Howard Sterns family, Kevin Keith Kalenbach, Wendy and Gary the retard, CrackHead Bob, Jeff the drunk, Rev Bob Levy, ....the list goes on... I saw Sheryl Crow perform all her hits as I was talking to most of the guys and girls from the show.... what a day !!! I took some great shots of everybody... Check them out !!! I told Robin Quivers who was looking a little shook up that this is a CELEBRATION of all that you (And the Stern Show) have accomplished over the years and a new beginning and the birth of a new era in Broadcasting at Sirius, and Howard Stern is at the forefront of this pioneering new medium...

All in all a great day for me, a monumental day for Howard Stern and a day I'll never forget !!!
