Withstanding an onslaught of abuse and harassment by a few lesser known show guests and their followers on a couple of the Stern fan message boards with the admins standing around and doing nothing to help, Erik once again has come out smelling like a rose....a rose at the bottom of a trash can of course... but a rose is a rose is a rose as they say.

Joey's call to the Shuli "show"

The ironic thing about this whole affair is that Boots is accusing Irish John of being a High Pitch Eric hangeron to get closer to the show. Duh! Isn't that what Joey did for years? How many times did you hear Eric say Boots' name on the air?

The answer is YES and countless times btw. Looks like Joey has forgotten the "little" people on the his climb up to "stardom." :)

It is also being reported that Joey is getting kicked out of his basement apartment with no place to go.

I went to too the Drs this morning and I have really hi blood pressure, with all the bad things going on with the Stern Show I have too much stress on me now after what has happened and the dr perscribed medication for me called LOTREL, and said I need to relax and I feel like I just need to take some time off from doing appearences and calling in to the show just for a few months I am sorry to do this but I want to get better thats all, for now I am going I will let you know how I am doing.... On Wednesday Howard Stern finally addressed the issue why he no longer talks to Andrew Dice Clay. Rumor has long been that Stern stopped talking to Dice after he called Howard at home and scolded him over making fun of Ryan White (the boy who died of AIDS) during a broadcast. When confronted by Sal the Stockbroker about the reason for the comedy fued Stern said on the air that he never had a private phone conversation with Andrew Dice Clay where Clay criticized him over poking fun at Ryan. Stern said the call simply never happened. However Dice see's it differently. In a 2002 interview with Steppin Out magazine, Dice told Chaunce Hayden what turned him off to the show was when Howard made fun of Ryan White soon after the young boys death. "He was just a little boy. And I heard him making fun of him on the air. So later on I called him at home and I said, "What are you doing?" And he said to me, "Oh, now you're the end-all of comedy?" I said to him, "I'm not talking about comedy. I'm talking about a baby that died. What's the joke? That's why when I'm asked about Howard I just say he's seedy. Other than that I think he's just very confused.

That's what we have been told by a very reliable source. According to our source,in 1996 Billy got some work done by then Howard Stern advertiser, "Men's Hair Now", a hair transplant company who also did transplants for Chaunce Hayden and Steve Grillo. A few years later the cover of the NY Daily News read something like this:

"Scandal! Hair transplant office uses garbage men to perform surgery!"

In other Billy news, Billy recently re-opened his message board forum... but be forewarned. If you think the mods at Howard's old bulletin board were bad or you are as disgusted as I am with the out of control moderation at sternfannetwork, you ain't seen nothing. Matthew McGrory aka BigFoot dead at the age of 32

LOS ANGELES - Matthew McGrory, the deep-voiced 7-foot-plus actor who moved from appearances on Howard Stern's radio show to a high-profile role as a gentle giant in the movie "Big Fish," has died. He was 32.

McGrory died Tuesday at his home in Los Angeles, said director Drew Sky, who was working with him on his current movie, a biopic of wrestler-turned-actor Andre the Giant. Paramedics determined he died of apparent natural causes, police said.

McGrory, who had size 29 1/2 shoes, appeared on Stern's show in the 1990s and received other attention from the national media even before he became an actor. He attended law school and showed up in music videos before starting his career in Hollywood B-movies.

He played a human Sasquatch in 2001's "Bubble Boy," an alien in "Men In Black II" (2002) and Tiny in the Rob Zombie horror movies "House of 1000 Corpses" (2003) and its sequel released this year, "The Devil's Rejects."

His big break in Hollywood came in 2003 with Tim Burton-directed "Big Fish." Ewan McGregor's character refuses to be intimidated by the size of McGrory's Karl character, walking up to shake his hand.

Sky said he first met McGrory at a bar in 2000 and had been filming "Andre: Heart of the Giant" on and off for six months. He said that McGrory, who was from West Chester, Pa., felt a connection with the man he was playing, wrestler and "The Princess Bride" actor Andre Rousimmoff, who died in 1993.

"He felt the same way, that he would do anything just to be a person of regular size one day a week, where people don't have to stare at him, where he could go see a regular movie and walk down the street," Sky said.

McGrory's family and girlfriend declined immediate comment.

It pains me to write this because my Asshole Of The Week has long been such a good friend to Steppin Out. Although those days seem to be over, I, along with the rest of the Steppin Out staff will always have a soft spot for Howard Stern. That said, what the f--k is Howard thinking by charging $10 dollars a month to watch the best moments of his radio show on television? This is just so wrong on so many levels. First, it's a slap in the face to the people at Sirius who are paying him a half billion dollars over five years mainly to attract new subscribers. Instead, Howard has essentially given his listeners a choice where to spend their hard earned dollars. Sure some will pay for both. But many will be forced to make a difficult choice. Personally, if it was me who signed this radio icon's half billion dollar paycheck, I would be a bit peeved if potential Sirius subscribers were given a choice by the very guy who just backed the Brinks truck into my living room. Secondly, it would seem Howard has lost touch with his extremely loyal blue collar fan base if he thinks "Joe landscaper" is thrilled to have to dig a little deeper into his pocket to get his Howard Stern fix. $12.99 a month for a uncensored radio show is reluctantly acceptable. However, Howard is fast approaching Bill O'Reilly coffee mug territory when he passes off the In Demand $10 dollar a month TV deal as doing us a favor. Please! What's next? A Howard Stern clothing line? Howard Stern key chains? Howard Stern condoms?

Some things need to be said. This is one of those things.

Why can't Ricahrd Christy get laid?

A few days ago I was surfing the Howard Stern message boards like I do everyday when I found an interesting item on sternfannetwork. One of the members there was also a member on Billy West's message board. He posted that he asked Billy a question about rejoining the Stern show and Billy responded.

I thought the comment by Billy was interesting and I made a blog about it and linked Billy's board where the conversation took place.

Afterward I saw Chaunce Hayden online. I thought that he might be interested and sent him the link. He commented back that it was an interesting quote.

Surfing the web again this morning I saw a link to a NEW YORK POST article posted in the Howard Stern newsgroup where it says that Billy West actually told Chaunce Hayden
the comment. haha

So much for honesty in reporting huh? Keep that in mind the next time you read the NEW YORK POST or steppin out magazine.

The only time I ever spoke to this guy was more than 12 years ago.
He interviewed me once for his mag and that was that.I didn't really
know him but he appears to be a ''catty-man''or somthing.I sound
bitter for introducing reality to the fans on my website? Is he actually
pretending that he interviewed me and I was angry? I've been fine
and dandy for the past 11 years, thanks.Number one,I didn't think I
was important enough to be in the silly scribe's gossip and #2,I

Jillian Grace's title part of publicity deal with Stern show?

Jillian Grace, Miss March 2005, was gifted her title as part of a publicity deal that Playboy made with the Howard Stern Show.

There was nothing accidental about Howard 'discovering' Jillian Grace and her becoming a Playmate. It was revealed on the Playboy boards by Miss October 2003, Audra Lynn (I've also heard that she was promised a Playmate spot shortly after she was discovered by Playboy scouts).

Billy West comments on joining Howard

Q: Billy what are your ideas about joining Howard again once he goes to Sirius ?

A: I don't want to be in someone else's circus anymore.Believe me,they
don't have enough money to pay me----no matter how much they can come up with. I wasn't very valuable to them money-wise when I was on the scene.Why on earth would it be any different now? I've said before that it would be nothing more than economic sucide If I left what I'm doing here to go back to NY again. I would to have my own radio show! (but there's no money in that either)
