Shrine 100 News update: Mission accomplished

As you know I have been very critical in this blog of Howard 100 News relying only on fans from sternfannetwork for fan reaction on Howard 100. Today, I was contacted by someone from Sirius. They asked me if I would like to participate in an upcoming Super Fan Roundtable. I respectfully declined but took the opportunity to ask if they would like phone numbers of people other than from sfn to call for fan reaction when needed and I was told to gather up the contact information and send it to them. So, if you would like to possibly get a call someday from Howard 100 News email me your name and phone number to howardshrine@aol.com and I will pass the info along.

And if you think you got what it takes to sit in on a super fan roundtable make your case in an email along with your contact information and I will send that along as well.

Throughout the show taping, he harrassed Beth calling her, and I QUOTE "A Bimbo", telling her he made way more money than Howard, at one point told her he was going to "kick her ass", and another incident where he got extremely firtatious in a way that made Beth visibly uncomfortable.

While I'm sure the alchohol intensifed Scott's behavior, there is still NO excuse to treat a woman this way. Especially when she has done absolutely nothing to deserve this.

Beth handled herself with extreme poise and grace, and while no one would have blamed her for walking off, she stayed and dealt with it for the good of the show.

I'm sure Scott embarrassed himself enough just by taping the show drunk, but I wanted to make sure the truth about this bitter midget was told.

Beth, nor the rest of the crew of "Casino Cinema" deserved the shit that Scott Stapp threw on us, so I'm hoping by this e-mail being written, Howard will rip him a new one tomorrow morning.

I don't want to give my name. I'd like to keep this anonymous, though I'm sure this won't be the only e-mail you will receive on this subject, as the entire crew witnessed this.

My friend said Steve like everyone else was standing around STUNNED! During one of the breaks Beth turned to him and said hey what did I ever do to you and Scott's reply was HEY LIGHTEN UP.

My friend know's I'm a massive Stern fan so he told me this story the second he got home. After the show he saw Beth in the back talking to Bianca Rominjn Stamos (spelling) and she said this to the dog "Wait till we get home and your daddy finds out what happened today" lol I thought that was priceless. I really do wish Stern would hand this guy his ass or at least privately confront him. Scott had no friggin right to talk to Beth that way. At my drunkest I don't turn into an animal and shit all over people. He's got woman issues.

Shrine 100 News: Weekend Update

Thanks to our efforts here at Shrine 100 News, Jeff Levy got his chance to audition at Howard 100. Yours truly received a call from Sirius radio Monday afternoon asking if I could participate in Jeff's sports show audition. Unfortunately, I had patients and could not break away. Here is Jeff's auditon and review that aired the following day.

I agree with many of the points made by the panel of super fans but disagree strongly on one. I would love to hear a full 30 minute show from the vomit guy. Howard one morning said he could listen to Jeff Levy all day........I agree.

Give him a whole show Howard.


Congratulations go out to Mutt at sternfannetwork on getting the new server needed up and running to handle the increased traffic. The place going up and down was getting to be re-god-damn-diculous. Now, if he would only cut Joey Boots loose from his mod duties and allow free speech to return to his board he just might make a few bucks with that site... and we all know that's what Mutt is all about.

I find it funny that she says this about superfans having strong opinions and how they won't be able to stifle themselves, yet fans must stifle themselves all the time on the nazi board she helps moderate. I guess she hasn't figured out that she, Joey Boots, Mutt and the rest of the staff at sfn are the ones looking ridiculous

That seems to be the question on everyones mind...well at least the minds of the people who have been banned from sternfannetwork for comments as minor as "Wow, Joey Boots sure put on some weight." and the people who are truly wise to sfn..Yes,the bannings continue at sfn for speaking the truth and there have been many as the thin-skinned super fan continues to ruin the almost once great Stern fan board. In my opinion the board never reached its full potential because of the owner and his flawed policies and poor management of the place but his latest blunder, in my opinion and many others, is his insistent on keeping the bloated, all day pot smoking, depressed, coke headed Joey Boots on the ban button. They are driving more and more Stern fans away to other more free speech sites such as the shrine and High Pitch Erik's board just when he has Howard and Howard 100 promoting his site. With the nazi Boots banning and censoring unchecked and Mutt fumbling the ball time and time again trying to handle the increased traffic, sfn's popularity is at an all-time low with the True Fans of Stern. WIth an agressive email campaign like none has ever been seen before, led by Pond at the Howardshrine, the Rat is out of the bag. Sternfannetwork is being mentioned less and less on Howard 100 News and even Howard himself last week when he mentioned that he visits sfn quickly added that he visits ALL the Stern fan sites.

Other Stern fans and even show celebs are stepping up as well and making their voices heard. Here is what Dale In Sales, frequent caller to the show had to say this morning about the situation:

It kinda reminds me of the bush administration.... lots of people thought he can lead a country... but he's making the US look like a bunch of retards.

As for bootz... he has a loud mouth... and howard heard it.. and by mistake, he mentioned bootz & sfn several times on the air... That means exposure and opportunities for sfn... mutt sincerley believes bootz to be an asset to sfn despite the bannings and posting of personal info of everyone including stern show regulars.... if anyone should be banned it's bootz for irresponsible moderating, stalking, harrassing etc, ... I never wanted to post there because the thought of having to kiss his ass makes me puke.

It's easy for us to say ban bootz, but mutt is his friend... and by friend... I mean they think they are eachothers meal ticket.. but in reality, they both dont really need eachother... the two should part ways ...and make many many people very happy.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! What better time than now for me to thank each and every one of you who have contributed to my book, my tribute to Howard Stern and the Show. I believe together we have made the GREATEST HOWARD STERN TRIBUTE OF ALL TIME!! The first 5 books have been printed and were mailed out last week. They are in the hands of the big people now. What happens after this is anyones guess. I am very proud of it and that's all that matters to me. It is, in my opinion, very Stern worthy. We have done our part. Thank you all so very much for all the help and support. To the few people I have aggravated over the years while putting this all together, I thank you too. No hard feelings. Some people just don't get my comedy........and that's cool too. Hopefully the powers that be will feel the same as I do about our tribute and make it available for all of you to have and enjoy.

"The Fanatic" by IAMSTERNFAN

Last week I decided to speak my mind about what's been happening with a lot of stern related websites as of late. I chose to not only go into detail about certain sites, but to also voice my opinions in regard to the mistreatment of the fans who post on those sites. Why can't the people who run these sites simply look the growing numbers of angry fans who post there and realize that "hey, there may be a problem with treating your members like crap!" I don't think it's fair to treat fans of the show this way and I'm certainly apreciative of the positive responses I recieved in regards to last week's column. I just hope that those who read the column also took the time to think about what I said.

As for this week's column, I've decided to take a break from all of the "net bashing" and discuss a few other topics of interest. Now first of all, I think we all need to realize just what's going to happen when the show moves in January. We're not going to hear any of those classic bits that we've been dying to hear. We'll no longer get the chance to hear the FCC make a big deal about every single bit that seems to be a tad "over the edge" (at least in their opinion that is). You know what all of this means to a fan like me? It means that while we're going to get to hear the show uncensored, we're still going to have to deal with the fact that the show as we know it is over. Yes, the show is going to be on the air for many years to come over at Sirius but what exactly should we expect? I don't think I'm alone when I say I'm not sure how much better it can get than some of the classic bits and guests they've had over the years. I hope it's going to be as great as they're saying it'll be, because if they expect people to shell out the cash for the radios and subscriptions, they'll have to live up to their promise.

Now that I've gotten some of the Sirius discussion out of the way, I think I should talk about the show's current format. I know that there aren't a lot of shows left, and I know that with the holidays here that some people may not be listening to the show as much. However, I'm not sure why anyone would want to miss not only the end of an era, but the end of radio as we know it. Think about it for a second. Not only is the Howard Stern Show the one thing that's forcing other disc jockeys to be more entertaining and edgy, it's also keeping freedom of speech alive on the radio. Once the show leaves at the end of the year though, it'll all be over. The days of entertaining radio are coming to an end, and yes, there are still some good shows out there. In fact, alot of stations ( smaller ones ) still try to be a bit more independant in the ways they operate. WCCC Hartford, the only station here in Connecticut that actually broadcasts the show, is a great example of a station that actually cares about their listeners. Here's a little history lesson regarding Howard, Fred Norris and WCCC...

In 1978, Stern landed his first morning show job in Hartford, CT at WCCC-FM and WCCC-AM where he was hired by station owner Sy Dresner. The radio stations with a progressive rock format lend itself nicely to developing Howard's "free-form" personality. Dresner, in fact, pushed Stern to "use" the telephone as a tool to create on-air material. Also, it was at the Hartford radio station where Howard also met his future show writer and producer, Fred Norris, who was working as an overnight DJ. It seemed evident that Stern was on his way to stardom as he gathered public attention for a number of on-air antics while in Hartford, CT. He earned news headlines after calling Japanese officials on the air in a attempt to get ex-Beatle Paul McCartney out of jail and had Connecticut motorists protesting gas prices with a headlight campaign. After Dresner held-off on giving Stern a $25 raise, Stern decided to head-off to a Detroit rock station for more money. (Years later in 1995, WCCC Radio Program Director Ron Dresner, Sy's son, brought Howard's show back to southern New England via syndication on WCCC Radio).

Story 5. Joey Boots the Rat is at it again. After abusing his mod powers and banning countless number of Stern fans from SFN for any negative comments made about him
he now has set his sites on Show VIPs. The Irish John feud has been going on for weeks now and of course you have heard fan reaction to that on Howard 100 News but the so-called fair and balanced news is slightly slanted his way considering that they are only getting reaction from people from the Joey Boots asskissers of SFN. SFN doesn't represent us all. Reach out to the other sites if you truly want to be fair and balanced. Well, since SFN does not permit attacks on any VIPs..or so they claim..Joey seems to have found himself in a bit of a pickle because another VIP is turning up the heat and he can't just make it go away like with the fans. Sean Rooney, Beetlejuice's manager pitched a way for Irish and Boots to settle their differences, a boxing match. Boots however declined and when Sean called him a chicken for backing down the Rat started accusing both Sean and Beet of being crackheads, he also said that he is printing out threads on SFN for a lawsuit he anticipates against Sean. Sean is now reporting that his wife is getting harassing phone calls. Boots however is denying making these calls...gee, why does that sound familiar?

Jeff Levy knows sports!!!!!!!!!!

I was chatting with Jeff Levy on the phone one day last week when I suggested that he try to get a show on Howard 100 since all the other wack packers were submitting audition tapes. "Jeff, you like sports, how about a sports call-in show or something?" Jeff liked the idea and told me he would think about it. A few days later he called again and after about 30 seconds of talking more about it we recorded an impromptu 8 minute "show". I thought it came out awesome and I emailed the clip to the Stern Show and also to Tim Sabean... but so far no one has contacted him about the idea. Here is the clip that we sent them. There was very little thought put into this and zero production but I believe that it showcases Jeff's "talent" perfectly. I think after listening you will agree that not only is Jeff a natural and deserving of a sports show, but that I am one sexy bitch.

It looks like people are really starting to show their true colors. As a poster on HPE.net and a poster and columnist here on The Shrine, I feel it's my duty to report some of the "inside" information and all of what's happening as of late between SFN,
HPE.net and this website. Not only do I think HPE.net is becoming more and more SFN biased, I also find it disgusting that someone like High Pitch Erik who supposedly wants everyone to get along and have fun on his site, has been telling everyone there to stop the unfriendly posts regarding certain SFN posters, mods and VIP's. Why is that site turning into what Howard Stern himself hates the most?

A PLACE WHERE OPINIONS ARE NOT ALLOWED!

That's exactly what seems to be happening more and more on TV, Radio and now the internet. I have viewed alot of what's been happening from afar and I must say that I seem to be the only one who has the guts to say what's on his mind. As far as anyone who reads this is concerned, your opinions don't matter. Atleast not on SFN or HPE.net. I got tired of bashing SFN and Joey Boots quite some time ago. I also got tired of all of the attacks from trolls and mults that seemed to be flooding HPE.net on a daily basis.

What's funny is that I have over 600 posts there and it doesn't mean a thing. If there were any VIP's at that site it would've been me, Doc, High Pitch, and Dale In Sales. All of that means nothing however. I don't have the pull that certain people over at SFN do and that means I can't do a thing about the problems over at HPE.net. Since when do people over at other sites care so much about an up and coming site like HPE.net? That seems a bit strange to me. Why would they care if most of the people who post there are not Joey Boots supporters? Ask most of the posters at SFN if they really like some of the powers that be over there and I think you'll be shocked to hear some of the answers.

The owner of this site gave me this weekly column for a reason. He knows that I am a man who speaks his mind. I am also a man who is fed up with the way certain sites are being run as if the fans don't mean shit. This is rediculous and I hope for the sake of the fans that things start to get better. Because hey, if they don't then why should we continue to post? Why even bother listening to the show if everything it stands for isn't even upheld online? Think about these things and maybe you'll see what I mean.



Freedom is a right and we should fight to preserve it...

Shrine 100 News: Weekend Update

Zolar went into the Sirius studios this week for his audition but from the sounds of it it didn't sound like things went that well. Here is what Zolar had to say to Shrine 100 News today:

I got bashed by the fans used on Howard 100 news. I didnt think people were going to welcome me with open arms, but the editing done by Sirius was not done in a good fashion. I feel it was cut that way to make me sound bad. I spoke of the format which they didn't include as well as other things that don't include Howard. I don't feel I was givin a fair shot. So stick that in yourr blog and smoke it !

Speaking of auditions tapes, I just made one today with one of the wack packers hopefully coming soon to a radio near you. I even had the pleasure of speaking to Tim Sabean on the phone. If Howard 100 or Howard doesn't play it next week we will post it here for all to enjoy.

After joining together for the 9 man rally that High Pitch Erik organized things heated up again between super fans Joey Boots and Irish John. There was a poll made at the Howard 100 News Forum asking fans if they would like a boxing match between the two to settle their differences. Irish John is all ready to go but it sounds like Joey Boots is pussying out.

naw man.....i think boxing matches are played out cuz then what starts as real hate then becomes about "performing" to build up for a fight and it's all so gay imo.....everything im against.....lemme just hate the fucktard for real and we'll leave it at that.....just sayin'.

well i was just hanging around waiting for the food to be ready, cuz i buy sandwiches every year, i saw artie and jason coming out and i knew he was coming to get a sausage and peppers treat like he does every year, he asked the lady if she had fountain soda while jason snaped pics of us the lady said no fountain sodas just cans, artie kinda shook his head so i asked him if he wanted one from subway and he said if i minded i said no, so i ran to get it got him extra large coke with lots of ice, ran back but they were gone so i went to the building signed in and i told the guard that this was for artie if he can call the studio for someone to come get it or if they wanted me to go up to drop it off, so ronnie came down and got it and that's when he thanked me over the air and i called in when i heard he wanted another one, i also wanted to suggest to howard to put fan names on the wheel of sex to see who can win it since he just wants to give it away but i got cut off before suggesting it made me sound gay smh

Shrine 100 News was given this piece of information from one of our insiders.


On tomorrow's show, Geraldo Rivera will be the guest,however,his publicist is the poor girl who Stern and Gary killed on the air (saying she was ugly and a pig) after A Current Affair did the story on Howard and Beth.

Her name is Daniella Cracknell and she's actually stunning but Howard tried to destroy her on the air. It got so bad that UPN said if Howard continues to go after her,we'll air video of his kids

Not since Hitler and Dr. Goebbels worked so well together has there been such lying and bullshit.

The old goblin related his “displeasure” regarding the “reporting” of the purchase of office furniture for the douchebag’s Sirius office. Hdouche News reported in detail how the goblin’s whore - frogbrain purchased all the items from Crate and Barrel.

The goblin ate up lots of time on his show discussing how he felt that the criticism voiced by Hdouche News of both him and his whore was unfair.

What total bullshit.

The goblin, ever since the onset of the Flounder era, has allowed zero information out of his “camp” of goblin ass kissers without his specific approval. Every utterance about the Hdouche aired on Sirius has the goblin’s stamp on it.

In this insistence the douchebag used the tried and true “straw man.” The goblin has the Hdouche Zoo news set up the straw man, and the goblin knocks it down. It kills plenty of time on his show and allows him to continue the never ending commercial for Sirius radio.

Besides Election Day, tomorrow there will be a rally outside Krock tomorrow against douche bag Joel Hollander and Tom C and I think the rally is going to be bigger than the Election coverage and I called CBS and NBC local news and they will be there as well and I have some more stations to call ABC and Fox 5 news so I need your support to be there for the Rally for the Wack-Pack and all the listerners with whats going on so please be there tomorrow at 6am if you are on the East Coast in New York please someone bring a bullhorn and make some signs so whos going to be there for the rally and fight hope to see you guys tomorrow here is the meeting place for everyone to meet 56th Street in front of the parking garage I thank all of you for who will all be there to help out support Howard till the end....

Thanks Doc, ... it started at 6:30am at the Howard stern building on 57th st. and it wasnt an Earth shaking event but Erik was interviewed by Howard 100 news and gave a good rap about the evil Tom Chiasano and Joel Hollander... NY local CBS news was there briefly... Erik, joe bootz, irish jon, and beetlejuice with sean were there....it seemed they had good intentions.... to let them know how pissed off people are that Howard Stern was suspended... but it turned into a chase the media contest... with the guys trying to get on the today show... but they were unsuccessful in the attempt to drum up attention from the media..

All in all a worthy cause... The guys seemed to get along nicely and all had one thing in common... the strong desire to let the world & Howard Stern know they are true fans, show that they were upset that he was suspended, and hopefully all get a show on sirius... (hehe just kidding)

No arrests were made despite public drinking and drunkeness

(update: I was just contacted by a friend of the "Emily in pink" pic and was told that she is upset that her pic is posted here, that she does not want to be associated with Howard Stern, that she is not 40 years of age, not an attorney, and that she doesnt appreciate the big boobs and nose comments in our discussion thread on the howardshrine.net message board. I asked for a comment directly from her and if I receive one I will post it.

I'm not there every day, I'm there on a "welcome anytime" basis. Usually I'm only only 1 1/2 blocks away at my crib, where I think I'm 300% more productive, slapping my work together with headphones on while chain-smoking in my underwear with the show blaring on the radio in the background (sometimes with a sweetie by my side, or sleeping a few feet away!)! If I need to utilize resources at the station, it's a 2 minute walk. I'm there at least once a week for meetings, and yes, I'm compensated quite generously. I'm still doing the free-lance sound engineer thang(fancy term for setting up PA's at weddings and bar mitzvahs on the weekends), and try to get out and do some stand-up at least twice a week, which is really addicting.

It's such an incredible honor to be a small part of the greatest show in entertainment history, and I feel like they've really gone out of their way to keep me in the loop and continue contributing to the show. Aside from winning the lottery, I couldn't ask for anything more! Big congrats to Mutt and all of SFN for getting so much recognition recently as the premier place for fans of the show to meet online. It's well-deserved!

Irish John, Dale In Sales, High Pitch Erik, and Eddie the Driver aka Eddie the produce man were taking calls on Irish John's cell phone (He had unexpectedly given his number out on the air) when with no screener and no delay someone called and talked to John and the gang using a Howard Stern soundboard. What the hell is the deal with Howard Stern? He was ripping me today. I didn’t hear it because I’m not really all that interested in listening to midgets having sex with porn stars, but maybe that’s just me. I guess he was telling a story about how I came to New York to meet him to see if there was anything that we could “do together.” He said that he came into the room, saw me and said “Get that fat slob out of here!” Of course, that never happened and if it had, Howard’s nose would be a different shape than it is today.

Nine years ago, when Howard started at WCKG, I called his agent, Don Buchwald. The same Don Buchwald who represented Kevin Matthews right back to Grand Rapids MI. I think Don thought I was calling because I was seeking representation. When he learned that I just wanted to speak to Howard, he was quite rude to me. In fact, he was the rudest person to whom I have ever spoken.

I wanted to see if we could at least have a sit down and try to figure out how to work together. Don said that Howard wouldn’t be interested in talking to me about working together. I didn’t mean a two-man show, mind you, I just wanted to have a connection between afternoons and mornings on WCKG. That was NINE years ago. I have never even been in the same room as Howard Stern.

Howard seems very bitter for a guy who’s getting $500 million to do what he allegedly wants to do. Infinity paid his fines, and I know that they were more then willing to give him a ton of money to stay. I think that Howard has let his persecution complex get the better of him. He convinced himself that the FCC had singled him out as Public Enemy #1. So when the Sirius deal came along, he took the money and ran. Now I think he’s having second thoughts. Opie and Anthony have been on XM for a year. Ever hear anything about them?

I’m not sure how somebody giving you a half a billion dollars to do what you ostensibly want to do would cause you to start railing on me and calling me a fat slob that you threw out of your office. Especially, when I’ve never even been in your office, but I guess maybe he’s just scared. He’s under a lot of pressure to get Sirius a million new subscribers. Then on top of the subscription fee they’re going to run commercials. There’s no one to stop him from saying anything he wants. Lashing out at the people trying to stop him is his act. That’s got to be scary. I guess it’s true what they say: Money doesn’t buy happiness.

Shrine 100 News: IRISH JOHN IS A COMEDIC GENIUS!!!

I just got to say that I thought that the Erik shitathon was fantastic yesterday..I enjoyed it immensely but for me the show went beyond greatness in the evening after Erik fell asleep in his chair.After listening to Erik nap for awhile I believe it was Eddie Sacks who whispered softly a goodnight to the people listening.....a few minutes later a drunk Irish John decided to get the party started again and gave out his cellphone number for people to call and call they did. The result was an impromtu call in show that made for some very compelling radio. First fans called with advice on how to get Erik up and shitting again. Joey Boots tried to call (according to Erik anyway) and was promptly turned away,Zolar called and was hung on, then Billy Mira called and even stopped over and was turned away. I thought it was a great play by Irish John to give up the digits and hearing his phone ring with the song Hello Hello!! was priceless. No, Maryann, Joey Boots, Ralph,shuli and all that "shit" didn't make that show great, it was Irish John and the late night callers that took Howard 100 to a new level for those who were still listening at that late hour. Big Kudos to John and Dale in Sales and Eddie Sacks and High Pitch for a very special moment in Sirius radio history. Awesome job dudes.

I will be posting some comments and audio from this amazing broadcast later today sometime. or maybe tomorrow...I am a little sleepy from staying up to almost 3 listening. Give these guys there own late night show Howard....no wait...forget that...I would never get any sleep.

(update: I was listening to Howard 100 News and I heard one fan say that he enjoyed the High Pitch Erik dumpathon but he thought that Irish John ruined it at the end and that radio was not for him. Nothing could be further from the truth. Here are a few clips of that historic night when quite to the contrary Irish John turned a dying show into some of the finest reality radio this reporter has ever heard.

Gave erik loads of KFC and did an interview when maryanne left... it was a crazy wild experience.... stunk like shit, ralph threw up and did a queer eye for the fat guy routine.
