Shrine 100 News: Weekend update
With the drunk, the high, and the depressed moderator, Joey Boots away at rehab for at least 30 days, and burst.net, the server for sternfannetwork, strictly enforcing their TOS (SFN was turned off last week by the server, without warning, due to "certain content"), it looked like sternfannetwork was finally heading in the right direction. This weekend, unfortunately, the owner, Jeff Hey, squashed any hopes of that happening by firing the server. When the going gets tough, change servers(Expect the posting of personal information, and the sending out of trojan viruses to resume.) Jeff Hey even appointed as the moderator, Doctor Ivan, the former owner of the now defunct traveling message board. Doctor Ivan, who is best known for his photoshop "art", once told me that he likes to make photoshop pics because it helps to calm his nerves when the medication isn't helping. Oh great..another mental case to look over the place until Joesph Bassolino gets back. Oh well. I have tried for years to help Jeff Hey make SFN the best it could be, but I can see that it is hopeless. Sternfannetwork is a disgrace to Howard and the Show and to Free Speech, and it will continue to be as long as Jeff Hey is in charge.
Oh just in case you think Jeff Hey is telling the truth on why he switched servers, compare his announcement to what the CEO of burst.net just emailed me:

We moved today. Not only do we have a new host but we've also upgraded to a big server. Matter of fact, we now have two of them! One sever dedicated to the database and one for everything else. It's the biggest we've ever been and we should be able to handle a ton more traffic.
The old host had straightened everything out, but I just wasn't comfortable having a couple of O&A pests having access to our box.
The CEO at the old host was very cooperative and I'll probably use them for other non-stern crap. We needed to upgrade anyway. ever since Howard busted our balls about not being able to handle the traffic, we started talking with cavecreek. The O&A crap was just one more thing to kick me in the ass and get me working.

Didn't even realize they left. Doesn't really matter to us though, as we were loosing money servicing their account anyways.Issues just were not worth the aggravation really...
It's a shame though, as we had everything resolved with them. As far as increased capacity with the new host, it's not the case, as we probably have more capacity then them actually...He left for other reasons I am sure, but that's his choice...

Howard told the guy that his calls aren't going to freak him out and their lame little army isn't an army at all. There were about four of them at his final day on regular radio and that's not much of an army. Another Shrine 100 News EXCLUSIVE: No more "Getting the Gay" at sternfannetwork
Congratulations are in order again to the True Fans of Stern. Shrine 100 News has learned that sternfannetwork has been ordered to stop giving banned member "the gay." Jeff Hey and his staff, as you may know, have been attaching a gay porn link to banned members' accounts, so that when they try and log on a loop of gay pictures fill their computer screen, often forcing people to log off and lose unsaved work. Our complaints to the server have been heard. "Getting the Gay" is now a thing of the past at SFN.
Of course, Jeff Hey, the owner of SFN, won't tell you that. This week, Jeff Hey made a post to Copter, someone who was going to watch the place for a day, and in that post he instructed Copter not to use "the gay" while he was away, because he wasn't ready for that. Jeff Hey was told several days before this post to stop the practice completely.
Yes, more dishonesty from Jeff Hey at SFN.........what else is new?

A Shrine 100 News EXCLUSIVE: Why sternfannetwork was shut down
As a reader of this blog, you know that the struggling Stern fan website, sternfannetwork was unexpectedly turned off for several hours Friday....but why?
No real explanation has been given so far by Jeff Hey, owner of the site.
Jeff Hey first said that an Opie and Anthony fan working at the location of his server was responsible. If I hadn't been searching the net all morning trying to figure out who this guy was, I may have seen the email which Burst sent me the afternoon before letting me know that we'd be down at noon Friday. You have to admit that the way he worded it, it sure looked like he was saying he was knocking us offline. It caused mass confusion with us and with them.
No real explanation has been given so far by Jeff Hey, owner of the site.
Jeff Hey first said that an Opie and Anthony fan working at the location of his server was responsible. When the board returned, the man's name, picture, email addresses, etc., were posted on SFN, and the SFN members were encouraged to seek revenge. More troubles for the struggling sternfannetwork
Was it an attack by the Opie and Anthony pests, did Jack Thompson or Chaunce Hayden get the site shut down, did the server turn off the site, or did Jeff Hey forget to pay his bill again?

Yes, as I was typing this blog, sfn went down once again. The member's name, birthday, email addresses,picture, etc. were all on display as the sfn sheep prepare to try and ruin the person's life, like they have done so many times before.

Sorry, but the site is temporarily down while I do a complete backup. Yesterday an O&A faggot ..username removed to appease burst.net.. said "If you guys want to know torture...try working in the datacenter where the SFN Server is hosted.....It is wayyyy too tempting to take it down...little bit of inside info...SFN will be off line tomorrow afternoon" and evidently he wasn't joking. Today at noon he turned us off. We've confirmed that he does work at our webhost. We're back up but now that I know there's an O&A shithead working in the building where SFN is hosted, I'm backing everything up ASAP. The host has assured me that they will be looking into this and handling the situation. We'll see what happens.
I'll be busy tonight pruning old dead threads and accounts so I can get a nice clean backup of the DB. I want to make sure that everything is saved. I'll get us on later tonight.
UPDATE 6PM: Well, the SFN legal team has tracked down Corey's name, address, phone number, photo, myspace page, etc. It's all been forwarded to the host. The site is downloading now and I'm busy compressing the backup of the database. The attachments and galleries will take some time, but so far so good.
UPDATE 7PM: Though I still don't have any answers yet, the webhost contacted me to say that posting the wackbag screen name of the Burst.net employee who threatened yesterday to take SFN down is somehow a violation of their TOS. I removed it so we don't get shut down again.
The entire site excluding the attachments is downloading now. When it's finished. I'll work on them. Looks like we'll be down all night.

I am confident we'll be OK after I hear back from him.

Why did koam.com remove the howardshrine.com link?
When Kevin returned from his hiatus,I picked up just where we left off, and started sending him links to Stern related articles-something that I did for him for years. All the time I was sending him links, and helping him make koam.com one of the premier Stern fan websites, he refused to put a link to my site on his board. He told me that everytime he would link one of my interviews, he would get record number of emails complaining, from people like Joey Boots and other Doc haters. But to his credit,despite all the hate mail, he posted the links anyway because he liked the articles and recognized them as some of the best Stern interviews on the web. Links to websites that no longer existed cluttered his site, but a link to the shrine was never added. I continued to send him links anyway, for the fans.
When the new koam.com returned a few short weeks ago, to my surprise, there was a link to this blog, right between the link to sternfannetwork and the email to the show. It was a happy day in Sterndom. Koam.com had finally recognized the #1 Stern fan website. I emailed Kevin and told him how honored I was, and very excited that he finally added my link. I also learned that Joey Boots was starting a grassroots email campaign to get him to remove the link. When I told him about this,Kevin told me that he was not going to cave into the pressure and the link would stand.
This past week, as you know, there was a lot of negative Sternfannetwork news in this blog (since September Joesph Bassolino and Jeff Hey have refused to remove my personal information from their board) ...Also this week, Kevin was interviewed by Howard 100 News and he mentioned his site, sfn, and marksfriggin as THE Stern fan websites. No mention of the shrine.
This morning, our link is suddenly gone, and we at Shrine 100 news want to know why.
Koam.com was emailed. So far, no response. We also sent the following email to Tim Sabean, Steve Langford, The Stern show, Howard 100 News,Doug Goodstein, and Jim McClure from Sirius to try and find out why the change of heart, and why the #1 Howard Stern fan website, www.howardshrine.com, is being ignored.

Shamela, on sternfannetwork, keeps posting that Chaunce Hayden steals interviews.. meanwhile all the interviews she refers to are syndicated interviews that Steppin Out magazine legally buys. We're not obligated to reveal where we buy our stories.... Yet, she assumes that if there's no byline, we are stealing it. Steppin Out magazine is planning a harrasment and slander suit against her.
Shrine 100 News has also learned that Attorney Jack Thompson, who was harassed by Joesph Bassolino and Jeff Hey at sternfannetwork has had a change of heart and is pursuing legal action also against the website, along with his client,a woman from Canada who was threatened as well.

How do I report sternfannetwork?
That seems to be the question Stern fans keep asking me over and over again. Each week, more and more Stern fans are not only seeing what a cesspool sternfannetwork really is, their privacy and rights are being violated. Even Howard and the Show, who unknowingly supported the site at first, are now seeing the light and starting to distance themselves from the place.
Has your personal information been posted at sternfannetwork by the moderator (Joesph Bassolino), and has the owner (Jeff Hey)refused to remove it, have you received death threats from the same mod, or other members like Chaunce Hayden has, has Jeff Hey sent you a trojan virus, like countless others, simply for speaking your mind? Have you lost unsaved work as a result?

(Update: Apparently, this blog has finally gotten Jeff Hey to do something about the abuse of my privacy at his site. Joesph Bassolino, once again, posted my name and address a few days ago. I decided to take a screen shot of it and email it to Jeff Hey and tell him what a disgrace his site has become. Apparently, Jeff Hey told Joesph Bassolino about it, and Joseph Bassolino edited the post. He kept my name and address up, but removed the part where he accused me of being a pedophile. The whole Chaunce Hayden affair must be having an affect.....but not enough.
Here is the exchange of emails between me and Jeff Hey this morning.
Jeff Hey: I was told that you are complaining that i won't take your personal information down and are posting mine. I don't know what you could be referring to. there's a filter at SFN that blocks both your first and last name to prevent that. you do not seem to share that courtesy with me.
I was also told that you are helping spread the lie that SFN sends people a trojan virus. It seems there is nothing that you won't stoop to try and discredit my site.

Sternfannetwork continues to be a disgrace to Howard and the Show
Thanks to long-time "fairy-tale" maker, Shamela, who recently attacked a new member by the name of Liebing. Liebing is the man who called into the show and told Howard that he was dying of cancer and needed help. Here is some of their exchange.

hey now, i'm in some trouble here guys. i have been a fan of howards for half my life and now is where i hope my dedication pays off. last april i was told i have stage 4 hodgkin lymphoma and that it had started to spread on my lung. This past summer has been a battle with intense chemo therapy which now ihave side affects from. To my surprise in september i was told that i was in remission and on my way to recovery... think again. I just found out that i am going to most likely have to live in boston at a cancer research center for 2 months or more, but here is were i need you. Bone Marrow.... with out a match i'm good as dead and i really need all the help i can get. I'm 22 and have had this now since i was 20. Please help me.... i'll do anything!!

Shamela has been harassing people and making up "stories" about people for years. Like SFN, she is a disgrace to Howard and the Show. I hope that Howard 100 News does indeed investigate this story further, and decides to never let this piece of garbage on the news ever again. This has been a Shrine 100 News report.

"The real reason why KC was suspended." by Dale In Sales
The real reason KC got suspended was because he made sexual advances towards a young intern, and KC got accused of SEXUAL HARRASSEMENT.
That was the biggest problem... he also has mental issues to deal with such as writing "notes" to God etc.
The reason I know this to be true is because I've been on the stern show and I know some the guys from the show. You dont have to believe me, but if you tell anyone, tell them Dale in sales told you !!!

I first met KC Armstrong when my friend High Pitch Erik was doing an appearance on the stern show, (that was right across the street from where I worked a the time) back in 2002. While Erik and I were waiting in the green room, KC Armstrong greeted us and it looked as though KC and Erik were good friends. We talked about a few things including KC's interest in getting a cell phone but having bad credit issues... I told him to call me and I'll take care of those issues... I asked KC how things are going on the show, he seemed like he wasn't happy with the way he was being treated or paid. That shocked me to think he had what seemed like the "dream job" to work for Howard Stern and be seen by millions of people everyday...When it was time for Erik and I to leave, Erik said "Goodbye KC, I love you !!" ... I thought ... huh ?? ...to my surprise KC responded "You know I love you too Erik" ...I wasn't sure what that was all about but I didn't want to know... But at least I made another friend from the show...
In the next few months, KC's behavior started getting very strange... On the air KC admitted to writing notes to God, taking steroids, became a compulsive gambler, and even thoughts about killing his parents because he loved them too much to see them live in this miserable world....considering they were in good health, this seemed quite strange...and the general manager Tom Chiasano was listening...
While all this was going on ...KC had a fascination with a very beautiful 19 year old intern (name withheld) Supposedly this young intern had given KC some "sexual favors" in the men's room at the K-Rock studio one day... and since that experience, KC was hooked. KC started writing notes to her, calling her at home and even asking her to take part in a threesome... she started losing interest in KC when she noticed his strange behavior.... then things went from bad to worse for KC when the young intern spoke to Tom Chiansano and an alleged incident involving KC groping the young girl while Howard was still on the air... This was the last straw for KC, they had to draw the line somewhere...and one thing you don't do in the workplace is "Sexual Harassment at the workplace" ... KC was immediately placed on suspension pending an investigation... with a possible pending lawsuit.. Tom had no choice but to let KC go for Sexual Harrassment...
KC has since gotten on with his new life and wife in L. A. and recently made an appearance on the stern show on the phone at Sirius where Jessica Hahn wanted to tell the world how KC got fired... and KC replied "Go ahead, I don't care"... but Jessica declined to tell the story because "someone else is involved" .... KC sounded a little bitter about the whole thing but still funny as hell. I wish KC all the best and hope they can help him over at Sirius.
