Doug Goodstein knew of Howard Stern and Beth O engagement months ago...

...and believes marriage and baby not far behind.

DOUG: If I can make a revelation now, I knew for a fact about 3-1/2 months ago.
GARY: Well, you didn't know for a fact . . .
DOUG: Yeah, I did?
GARY: How?
DOUG: Because someone very close to the situation told me.
GARY: Did Howard tell ya?
DOUG: No, the other half.
GARY: Beth?
DOUG: Beth told me.
GARY: How did Beth know?
DOUG: She said to me about3-1/2 months ago in my office, when we were doing something . . . she was working on the Dogcademy Award thing, and she said "when we . . . " I don't know if I can reveal all the details. She said "When we get married." And she said "we're going to be engaged soon."
WILL: Well then why would she act so surprised when she got the ring last night?
DOUG: Well, maybe I shouldn't have said any of this.
JOHN: Well, maybe she didn't know when exactly it was coming.
DOUG: It wasn't like "if." It was "We're getting married." And there was another guy who she doesn't even know that well and she said it right in front of him. And she definitely wasn't kidding. It was just a matter of fact "When we get married." She told me some more details too, which . . .
Benji: About the kid? The kid's name?
DOUG: No. But I believe, on the record, there will be a Baby Stern. Or Ostrosky.
GARY: Ohhh, that's funny.
JOHN: You're speculating or you know?
DOUG: No, that I don't know for a fact. I think that Beth wants to have a baby.
JOHN: Is that why you were going around the office betting on when this . . .
DOUG: Whey they did that marriage rap about a week and a half ago, I said I guarantee you that Howard and Beth will get engaged . . .
WILL: Did she give you any kind of time window?
DOUG: No, not really. But I think it will be sometime this summer is my prediction, that they will get married . . .
GARY: So let me do the math on this. Beth is full catholic and Howard is half jewish and half catholic, so the baby is three quarters catholic and one quarter Jewish then. The baby will be raised catholic then.
DOUG: It was nuts because, like, I'm not going to . . . I didn't tell anyone, except for the two people . . .
BENJI: Why are you so sure that she wants to have a baby?
DOUG: Because she said stuff to my wife in the past that, uh, made it sort of . . .
GARY: Yeah, I can only tell you my [BLAH, BLAH, BLAH -- GARY CLEARLY NERVOUSLY INTERRUPTED TO STOP THE REVELATION AND WENT INTO A TOTALLY BORING AND DIFFERENT TOPIC.]
