Emily Stern??

(update: I was just contacted by a friend of the "Emily in pink" pic and was told that she is upset that her pic is posted here, that she does not want to be associated with Howard Stern, that she is not 40 years of age, not an attorney, and that she doesnt appreciate the big boobs and nose comments in our discussion thread on the howardshrine.net message board. I asked for a comment directly from her and if I receive one I will post it.
I thought it would be good to remove the pic at this time. Is that wrong?

Damn, I just got a second email telling me that actually all she said was that she was appalled but that she is happy in my decision to remove the pic.

While I am at it, I also received an email about my "She is good looking........for a Jew." comment under the pic. I explained to the lady that that was a reference to a bit played on the Stern show when a caller left a message saying the same thing about Tori Spelling. My apologies to all the ugly Jews out there if I offended you with that comment. )

Emily Stern acted in a few plays last month. Here she is with Kurt Vonnegut
and other cast members of "Happy Birthday, Wanda June."

(Update: Information are her latest play can be found
here )

update 12/13/05-- An email from a reader:

FYI : http://www.howardshrine.com/2005/11/emily-stern.html

The picture on this page of the girl with the guy is actually Emily Stern the semi well known NY city lawyer in her late 40's. See Below:

I know because she did some work for our firm back in 2004.

Not sure about the other picture on this page.

"Emily Stern is a senior associate in Proskauer Rose LLP's Litigation Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Department. Her practice covers a broad array of substantive areas of the law including, among others, federal securities, insurance coverage, false advertising, theft of trade secrets and confidential information, the ethical and fiduciary obligations of attorneys, antitrust and employment law. In addition, Emily has litigated numerous complex commercial contractual disputes involving many different industries and areas of business. Emily also has considerable trial experience in state and federal courts and in private arbitrations before juries and courts. Her practice also involves handling appeals before federal and state courts. "
